DEPENDENCY

darknessLife can change in a moment. The journey of this thought began with the sudden stillness after the “hard shutdown,”  the blackness of no power, the roaring quiet that brings about instantaneous recognition of my tinnitus.

I am humbled in my dependence; dependence upon luxury.  The perspective is not always clear when it is buffered by softness and warmth and comfort.  I am thankful that God is faithful to shine His light into a dark place and lead out His children.  The dark backdrop of pride and greed distinguishing itself.
