Until We Meet

Just don’t make me say goodbye.
I’ll slip out the front door before dawn.
I’ll leave the fan turning overhead
like the breeze picked me up and carried me off in the night.

When the pictures upload we can remember
all of the details that made us laugh or cry.
We discovered new adventure and old peace
that binds us across miles of hours and days and lives.
