Life Detours

Diagnosis:  deteriorating.
Deep breath in, one, two, three
Exhale out, equally.

Gently stretch, don’t push into pain.
Life is not a competition.
Be kind to yourself.

Prognosis: death unto life.
Inhalation, exhalation,
one will be your last.

Be ready to step out of decay.
Light of life awaits,
no more lasts.

Deterioration, temporal.
Life in Christ, eternal.
Momentary affliction, purposeful.
Thanksgiving, beneficial.
